How long does a commission take?

Commission times vary depending on the artwork´s complexity, size, number of subjects, and the level of detail requested.

Classic Illustrations generally take approximately 3 to 5 business days.

Detailed Illustrations generally take approximatly 5 to 10 business days.

Premium Detailed Illustrations generally take approximately 10 to 30 business days.

These timeframes are estimates and begin once all neccessary reference images and details have been recieved. More complex commissions may require additional time.

If you need your commission completed sooner, Priority may be available for an additional fee. Priority is intended for costumers who need a faster turnaround and places the commission ahead of standard orders in the queue.

Priority may be unavailade during periods of high demand. If you require a faster turnaround, you are welcome to contact us before placing your order.

Where do you ship?

Currently shipping within Europe. A wider international shipping will be available in the future.

Can I receive a preview before shipping?

Yes. A final digital preview can be sent for approval before the artwork is shipped if requested. Minor adjustments are included. Major changes may require an additional fee.

Can I request changes?

Small adjustments are included after the preview. Full redraws or major changes after approval are not included unless agreed upon separately.

Do you accept refunds or returns?

Due to the custom nature of the artwork, all sales are final once the work has begun.

Merchandise can be returned only if it is in the same condition as when it arrived. Items may be tried on for fit, but must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged with no signs of use.

What do you need from me before I order?

Please provide clear reference images and a short description of your request. You may submit multiple images, for example if you want two people drawn together, or request changes such as a different pose or facial expression like smiling instead of frowning.

Work will not begin until all required references and details are received.

Can I use the artwork commercially?

All commissions are for personal use only unless a commercial license has been purchased or agreed upon in advance.

Personal use includes using the artwork for private display, personal social media acccounts, gifts, and other non commercial purposes.

Commercial use includes using the artwork to promote or operate a business, sell products or services, use in advertisements, or generate revenue from the artwork in any way.

Will sold out items restock?

Limited items are produced in small batches. Once sold out, they may not be restocked online.

Some sold out items may still be available at in person markets or events. Updates and availability are shared on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

What materials do you use?

I use only carefully selected professional grade materials chosen for their quality, performance, and durability.

For graphite work, I use Faber Castell 9000 and Graphite Matt pencils. Faber Castell 9000 pencils are known for their exceptional precision, consistency, and wide range of graphite tones. They allow for smooth transitions, controlled shading, and detailed work. Graphite Matt pencils are designed to create deep, rich blacks with a reduced reflective surface, making them ideal for achieving stronger contrast and a more intense graphite appearance.

For coloured work, I use Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 coloured pencils. They are widely respected among artists for their high quality pigments, excellent lightfastness, smooth application, and strong colour intensity. Their ability to layer beautifully and maintain colour richness makes them one of the most highly regarded coloured pencil ranges available.

For paper, I offer a selection of premium fine art papers from Canson 300g and Clairefontaine 250g, available in multiple sizes depending on your preferred format.

Canson 300g features a textured surface that provides a traditional fine art feel. Its heavier weight and distinctive texture make it well suited for artwork where surface character and a more tactile appearance are desired.

Clairefontaine 250g offers a smoother surface with a refined finish. It is known for its excellent quality and provides a clean, elegant surface that allows fine details and precise marks to appear clearly.

Why is lightfastness important?

Lightfastness refers to how well a pigment resists fading when exposed to light over time. This is especially important for artwork that is created to be displayed and preserved for many years.

Professional grade materials such as Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 use highly stable pigments that are tested for their ability to maintain colour intensity and resist fading. The highest lightfast ratings are designed to preserve the appearance of colours for decades under normal indoor display conditions.

Unlike lower quality pigments that may gradually lose vibrancy when exposed to light, high quality lightfast pigments help ensure that the colours remain rich, balanced, and true to their original appearance over time.

Why does paper quality and thickness matter?

The quality and thickness of paper affect both the appearance and longevity of artwork. A heavier paper provides a more durable and premium feel while helping the artwork maintain its structure over time.

The surface texture also influences the final appearance. Textured papers can enhance the traditional handmade character of an artwork, while smoother papers allow for cleaner lines, sharper details, and more precise finishes.
